KIM KARDASHIAN AND KRIS HUMPHRIES IT'S PRE-NUP TIME!

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are working on a pre-nuptial agreement before they marry Kim Kardashian may have found love with Kris Humphries, but she doesn't want to lose any of her $35 million fortune.

The reality star and her NBA beau are ironing out a pre-nuptial agreement before they walk down the aisle, reports TMZ.

"It's the smart thing to do," the couple told friends, according to the site.

But it's not just Kardashian, 30, who want to protect her bank account.

Humphries, 26, wants to hang onto his money, as well.

In addition to the estimated $3.2 million he makes a season playing for the New Jersey Nets, his family also owns a number of Five Guys Burgers and Fries joints in his native Minnesota, making Humphries' net worth an estimated $8 million.

The couple got engaged on May 18 after Kardashian came home to find "Will you marry me?" spelled out in rose petals. Humphries then got down on one knee with a 20.5-carat ring.

Kardashian has yet to confirm reports she will change her last name to Humphries -- but her manager-mom Kris Jenner has weighed in on the matter.

"I don't think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries," says Jenner "She needs to be Kim Kardashian because she's worked so hard to get where she is
