Kidd Kidd To Post Bail In New Orleans

Bail Bondsman to the Stars Ira Judelson tells Confidenti@l the G-Unit rapper is in his custody and will be delivered to a Louisiana judge before noon on Wednesday.

“He’ll post bail in New Orleans,” Judelson said Tuesday. “I imagine that bail will be between $20,000 and $50,000. I don’t know if this will go to trial. But we’ll see.”

The rapper, born Curtis Stewart, was arrested in New York last week in a New Orleans case involving domestic-violence charges and released on $105,000 bail Monday. Judelson expects him to recover $100,000 of that money after returning to New York as early as Thursday.

Judelson said his client and his ex-girlfriend had run-ins with the law — and each other — in Las Vegas, New York and New Orleans before Kidd Kidd was arrested June 30 at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, where he was due to perform.

According to Judelson, Kidd Kidd was so emaciated when he bailed him out of jail that he gave the rapper $20 to buy a hot dog. Judelson was especially motivated to spring him when G-Unit’s 50 Cent took time away from celebrating his 40th birthday Monday to call.

“Fitty called us and said, ‘You’ve got to get this kid out of there,’ ” said Judelson, “He’s just been on ‘Power,’ and Fitty is a producer on the show.”

Judelson immediately started checking JetBlue and Delta for direct flights.
