KID CUDI'S ALT ROCK ALBUM "WZRD" GETS PUSHED BACK!

Kid Cudi fans anxiously awaiting on the former lonely stoner and his alternative rock project WZRD alongside “Day ‘n' Nite” producer Dot Da Genius will have to wait just a bit longer. Cudder's collaborator revealed that the band's self-titled debut will see a later release date.

A series of tweets from Dot Da Genius last evening (January 16) served as an update on the highly anticipated WZRD project, turning quickly into an apology to fans after Dot announced that the album won't be released on its originally intended January 30 date.

“Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it's almost near completion. We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us,” Dot Da Genius tweeted.

Dot followed with, “With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th.”

To satiate disappointed fans, Cudi and Dot will release a pair of iTunes singles, “Break” and “Teleport 2 Me” on the original album release date of January 30. Dot also tweeted that the duo will leak a track “DOSE OF DOPENESS” to the masses as well.

While Cudi didn't address the album delay on his timeline yesterday, the Cleveland native did tweet confidently about the project. “My whole career Ive had 2 prove people wrong, WZRD will be no different. This album will finally make people believers, WE CAN DO ANYTHING,” tweeted a proud Cudi.

Kid Cudi confirmed earlier in the month that WZRD will tour as a band, starting their journey in Europe.
