Kevin Hart and his pregnant wife will follow through with a lavish baby shower amid the ongoing extortion scandal swirling around the comedian.
Hart and Eniko Parrish will shell out a whopping $117,855 for the extravagant event, which will take place at the Calamigos Beach Club in Malibu, Calif, on Oct. 1, TMZ reported.
The shower will reportedly center on a "The Lion King" theme, meaning there will be leopard print decorations and animal images throughout the venue, music from the classic Disney movie and an "Experience Bar" for guests to try exotic food.
There's also expected to be a chimp wearing a diaper, which cost the couple $1,500, according to the celebrity gossip site.
Their reported decision to carry out the shower comes days after Hart posted an apologetic video to his Instagram page in which he said he was sorry to his wife, as well as his two kids from a former marriage, for a "bad error in judgment." Some have interpreted the video as Hart appearing to admit to infidelity.
He also claimed in the video that he was being targeted by someone seeking "financial gain."
"It's a s----y moment where you know you're wrong," he says in the video. "There's no excuses for your behavior."
A report from TMZ, meanwhile, surfaced over the weekend stating that a woman had allegedly been pressuring Hart, 38, to give her money so she won't release a video of her and the comedian doing something "sexually suggestive."
The report described the alleged video as the prelude to sex, making it clear it was not a sex tape. A screen grab from the video has been published to TMZ.
On Wednesday, the woman in the video held a press conference with high-powered attorney Lisa Bloom to assert that she's not an "extortionist" and that she had "nothing to do with these recordings."
"I was involved with Kevin Hart a month ago," Montia Sabbag, 26, said. "Since then, my pictures and my name have been released with lies written about me."
"I'm not an extortionist. I'm not a stripper," she continued. "I'm a recording artist and an actress, and I have not broken any laws."
Sabbag said she believed someone snuck cameras into the hotel suite in Las Vegas where she and Hart spent time together.
Parrish, 33, has reportedly forgiven her husband.
"Eniko is aware of what's going on and that Kevin is not perfect," an insider told E! News. "She has accepted his apology and is focused on her pregnancy and what's to come. She has no plans for divorce. She believes Kevin is a good husband and always comes home to her."
The FBI has identified a suspect in the situation, according to TMZ.
