KELIS SAYS SHE WAS CALLED A SLAVE AT A UK AIRPORT!

Kelis probably doesn't fly economy, but her treatment Monday at a London airport was anything but first class.

Returning from a performance at the annual Bestival on Britain's Isle of Wight, the singer landed with her child, 2-year-old Knight, and was the alleged victim of a shocking, racist rant while in the passport control line.

The "Milkshake" singer, 32, wrote in a series of tweets that she "apparently p----d this one man off cause he thought I cut the line. Which wouldn't be far fetched of me but this time I actually didn't (not entirely anyway)."

She goes on, "This fat red-faced sweaty 'man' (I use the word man loosely here) started calling me a slave and told me to call him sir and how I was probably a disgusting nigerian."

Kelis went on to say the man called her "Kunta Kinte," one of the central characters from the novel and TV miniseries "Roots."

Further tweets claimed the official behind the passport desk just laughed and shook his head during the incident.

No one in the line allegedly came to the singer's defense.

"All the while the entire line full of people I just sat on a plane with for almost 3 hours," she wrote. "Over 50 people said nothing. I mean literally nothing. Didn't flinch."

The ordeal made the Harlem native think about racial issues both in the U.K. and at home.

"I am in london all the time and today I'm gonna say that the racial issues in the uk are disgusting," she wrote. "Its racially decades behind progression because everything is swept under the rug. People don't talk about it. People don't fight about it."

The shocked star concluded, "I could go on and on. I won't. But maybe someone will start to talk about it from here."
