Kelis Puts Glendale Home On The Market For $2.2M

“Milkshake” singer Kelis is probably hoping the listing of her Glendale, CA, home brings all the boys, or at least buyers, to the yard.

The 38-year-old singer, whose full name is Kelis Rogers, is best known for her hit single from the 2003 album “Tasty.” She’s now placed her Spanish-style home on the market for $2.2 million, as first reported by the Los Angeles Times.

The home certainly hits a high note. Built in 1924, the fully restored “glamour home,” according to the listing, offers a bright and airy open floor plan.

The “one-of-a-kind” chef’s kitchen has been featured on the Food Network and boasts imported marble countertops, dark wood cabinets and black-and-white flooring. The fireplace in the great room features original tilework.

The master suite includes a fireplace, balcony and bathroom with heated floors and a steam shower.

The guest suite has a full bath and polished concrete flooring with a river rock wall. The finished attic provides a bonus space that could work as storage space or even a yoga room.

The private backyard features an outdoor kitchen with a “brand-new” barbecue grill, imported stone sink, fridge and gas grill.

The true showstopper out back is the heated, resort-size saltwater pool.

Kelis’ latest album, “Food,” was produced in 2014. She took a break from her music to attend Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. So now she could whip up a delicious milkshake along with singing about them.
