Keyshia Cole and Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson have welcomed their first child together, Usmagazine.com reports.
The R&B singer welcomed baby boy Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. on Tuesday at 11:54 p.m. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces.
"The proud couple would like to thank everyone for giving them privacy during this special time," the new mom's spokesperson told the mag. "Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist."
Cole, 28, and Gibson, 24, reportedly became engaged with "an incredible ring" on New Year's Eve.
Cole, who stars in her own BET reality show, recently opened up about her decision to end her rocky relationship with her family.
After announcing in January that she was expecting, the singer issued a statement to her fans, explaining, "Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority.
"It's very important to both Daniel and I ... the stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it's not what I need at this time in my life."
