After a weak-long tease, Coachella announced the festival's official lineup for 2011 -- and Katy Perry is not happy.
Despite speculation that Daft Punk would be making their triumphant return to the festival after playing the event five years ago, concertgoers had to make do with the surprise announcement that Kanye West will be headlining this year.
The French band, made up of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, are back in the spotlight after composing 24 songs for "Tron: Legacy."
Perry took to Twitter to express her surprise at their absence.
"Dear @coachella WTF happened to DAFT PUNK?! I wanted to get my TRON ON!" Perry tweeted Wednesday. "Needless to say, I'll still be there w/glowstixxxs. #coachellalineup"
West and co-headliners Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire have their work cut out for them as Daft Punk are known for their elaborate stage shows.
Coachella 2011 takes place at Empire Polo Fields in Indo, Calif., from April 15 to 17. Other buzz-worthy acts featured this year include Cee Lo Green, Duran Duran, PJ Harvey, Brandon Flowers, The Chemical Brothers, Erykah Badu, The Scissor Sisters, The Strokes and Wiz Khalifa.
