Karrueche Files Restraining Order Against Chris Brown, Claiming He Threatened Her Life

Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran claims the singer assaulted her and threatened to kill her several years ago, according to a new report.

Tran recently received a restraining order against the "Run It" artist after alleging to a judge that Brown punched her in her stomach twice and pushed her down stairs during past incidents, TMZ reported.

Brown "told a few people that he was going to kill me" and warned friends that if he couldn't be with Tran, nobody could, the model reportedly said in a sworn statement.

Tran contends Brown even got specific in his threats — alleging in court documents that Brown "threatened to shoot" her, according to TMZ.

The assault would have taken place while Brown was still on probation for beating up another former girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown plead guilty to assaulting Rihanna in 2009.

Tran also accused Brown of threatening people who are close to her. In the court documents, the model claims Brown recently threw a drink at one of her friends.

She sought the restraining order because she feared his threats are coming into fruition, according to TMZ.

Brown, 27, dated Tran on and off between 2011 and 2014. They split after it was revealed he had a child with another model, Nia Guzman, behind Tran's back. That revelation became public in early 2015.

Brown recently waged a heated social media feud with Soulja Boy, another troubled rapper, after he noticed the "Crank That" artist "liked" an Instagram photo of Tran.

"Chris Brown just called me and said he wanna fight me because I liked @karrueche picture on Instagram," Soulja Boy tweeted last month.

Brown later denied Soulja Boy's claim.
