The world famous rapper, and budding fashion designer, is teaming up with French label APC on a new denim line.
Hip Parisian brand APC France took to Twitter to announce their latest collaboration -- a new denim project with hip-hop superstar Kanye West.
Beyond the launch date (July 14, aka France's national Bastille Day holiday), details on the collaboration are currently thin on the ground. Images on the APC website show two indigo color washes, but no other product shots.
Kanye used his own Twitter account to repeat the news, tweeting a message on July 8 which gave props to the brand's creative director: "Thank you Jean Touitou for letting me create with you".
To add to the hype, Kanye's own site is currently showing a giant image of the unbuttoned denim jeans with the red and black 'A.P.C. Kanye' label.
West has a long-standing interest in fashion, and created two ready-to-wear collections which he showed in Paris in October 2011 and March 2012. APC has previously collaborated with Nike, Vans, and Carhartt.
The collection will go on sale online at APC.fr at 10am on July 14th.
