It was third time unlucky for Kanye West fans in Texas — who saw the screening of his controversial new music video cancelled a trio of times in just one night.
The superstar rapper's "New Slaves" visual was due to be projected onto the Rothko Chapel in Houston at 9:45 p.m. Friday.
But, just minutes before, cops arrived to break up the crowd - which had been described as "upbeat" and "respectful" — and threatened to arrest them with trespassing.
Subsequent screenings on the city's Central Library and Bush Memorial were then hit by technical problems — meaning they also had to be scrapped.
Houston PD has not yet revealed why it decided to shut down the event, reports the Houston Chronicle.
The public projections were supposed to be part of the publicity for West's new album "Yeezus" which is due June 18.
Similar stunts have already taken place on buildings across the world.
