Kanye West’s upcoming album, Bully, won’t have AI, according to his inner circle. Music manager Peter Jideonwo hopped on X over the weekend to confirm that the rapper’s upcoming LP won’t feature any artificially generated music. “(There) is no AI on bully,” Jideonwo wrote. Milo Yiannopoulos, Yeezy's former chief of staff, echoed the announcement on X, writing, “For those who need to hear it from a white man, No AI on Bully." Yeezy's support team also confirmed the announcement in an email. Bully is set for release on Jan. 30. In a conversation with Justin Laboy in February 2025, Ye had said the frequently delayed project would incorporate AI and even previewed how he could change someone else’s vocals into his own. "It's like the next version of sampling," he said after playing a snippet. "Like when sampling happened, they hated it." Bully will be made up of 13 songs, with several of them being tracks that fans have already heard before, such as "Preacher Man," "Beauty and the Beast," "Damn," "Last Breath," and "Losing Your Mind.” According to Touré, Ye produced the entire album by himself. “'This album is 100% him.' They meant it's pretty much made by Kanye alone. He's producing everything 100% himself. This will be 100% Kanye West, which it hasn't been in many, many years,” the journalist wrote in his newsletter. A newly launched website from Ye is currently selling physical copies of the project, offering CDs, cassettes, box sets, and vinyls.
