Kanye and Drake are jostling for billboard space on Drizzy’s home turf, no less.
Kanye West ramped up the promotion of his new album by flooding Downtown Toronto with Donda billboards. In the images captured below, Kanye’s billboards both outnumber and tower above the billboards Drake purchased to promote his own forthcoming album CLB, which drops on Friday (September 3).
Of course, a major label artist snapping up billboard space to promote their new album isn’t anything out of the ordinary. But in Kanye West and Drake’s ongoing cold war, every move seems to carry a little more weight.
Despite his backyard being infiltrated by Donda ads, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy billboards certainly aren’t going unnoticed.
Drizzy unveiled a series of nationwide billboards, which includes JAY-Z, Future, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Ty Dolla $ign, Giveon, Project Pat and Yebba.
He also hinted at an appearance from Houston’s “Hometown Hero,” leaving fans speculating whether that’s Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, Trae Tha Truth or perhaps even Beyoncé.
