Sweet Yeezus! Kanye West swooped into San Francisco Monday night and proposed to Kim Kardashian on her 33rd birthday, E! News reported early Tuesday morning.
The rapper, 36, popped the question to the mother of his child at AT&T Park, which was rented out for Kardashian’s big day, the site reported.
Having received future mother-in-law Kris Jenner's blessing, West reportedly proposed to Kardashian with a 15-carat diamond ring made by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz
Maintaining the theatricality, West also arranged for the Jumbotron to read "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" and a 50-piece orchestra to play Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" and Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and West's "Knock You Down."
Earlier in the night, West was reportedly a presenter at the 2013 Hollywood Film Festival, so his quick flight north to the City by the Bay added to the surprise of his proposal, E! reported.
“A match made in heaven!" Jenner told E! shortly after the engagement news broke. "I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye."
Kardashian’s younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, took to her Twitter account to express her happiness after the exciting night, "Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?!" she wrote.
"Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!"
Surprises seem to be a staple of the couple’s recent relationship, which has been generating marriage rumors for the better part of a year. Last December, West surprised his fans when he announced at a concert in Atlantic City that Kardashian was pregnant with his child.
Their daughter, North, was born on June 15.
Kardashian’s previous marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries was, of course, a surprise for its short shelf-life — their divorce was finalized in June of this year after a lengthy battle, despite only spending 72 days as husband and wife from August to October of 2011.
The reality starlet was also previously married to Damon Thomas, a music producer, from 2000 to 2004.
Do you think Khloe would of got married to Lamar if she knew he was a crackhead?
