Kanye West has had a busy month between the release of Donda, a statement-making album listening event, dropping Donda merchandise, and multiple reported beefs with other artists, one would think that the the hip-hop icon might not have time for a lot else. However, ‘Ye hasn’t neglected his iconic Yeezy line as the “Glow Green” Yeezy Slide, the latest slide release, drops on Monday, September 6.
The minimalist design bright slip-on slides are made of lightweight and durable EVA foam, similar to other colorways in the line. The Adidas logo is subtly debossed on the shoe’s foot bed. The rest of the shoe is sleek and logoless with smooth rounded edges on the top with an accentuated grooved outsole that was designed for traction and support as well as comfort.
Since the release of the first Yeezy slide in “Bone” in December of 2019, the collection has added several other colorways including “Desert Sand,” “Resin,” “Soot,” and “Core.” The “Glow Green” is a departure from these more muted colorways. The shoes are offered in adult, kids, and infant sizes. The infant shoe has a strap on the back of the heel. The price for the adult version is $55. The price for the kids’ version is $45. The price for the infant version is $35.
