His new album isn't out yet, but already Justin Timberlake has another 'Experience' on the way.
According to Roots drummer and musicologist Questlove, Justin Timberlake plans to release a second volume of "The 20/20 Experience" in November.
"Spoiler alert," Questlove wrote in a post on the OkayPlayer message boards, "20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now.... 10 songs later = 20 vision)"
Questlove, who's widely known as the leader of the Roots house band on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," would be a credible source.
In addition to playing with Timberlake during his week-long stint on "Fallon," Questlove was also on board for his SXSW show in Austin and Timberlake’s Super Bowl weekend performance in New Orleans.
On the website he weighs in on a string of opinions in response to the somewhat negative Jon Caramanica review of the “Suit & Tie” singer’s album in the New York Times.
"I admire the balls it took to make this record," said Questlove, before comparing Timberlake and producer Timbaland's working relationship to Michael Jackson's relationship with Quincy Jones.
"He played me songs out of order and off both records so i don't know what made the final cut," he added.
The supposed first half of the "20/20 Experience" will be released Tuesday, March 19.
