JUSTIN BIEBER'S FIRST AUSTRALIAN CONCERT GETS CANCELLED AFTER FANS RUSH THE STAGE & 10 GIRLS FAINT!

Justin Bieber's first Australian gig was canceled Sunday after several fans succumbed to Bieber fever.
Police pulled the plug on the 16-year-old's free outdoor concert for a local TV show after the crowd rushed the stage and ten girls fainted, news.com.au reports.

Bieber was set to perform three songs at Sydney's Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay Sunday morning to air on the Channel 7 show "Sunrise."

But thousands of fans, who had camped out overnight, rushed the stage upon hearing of Bieber's arrival, breaking barriers and injuring several in the audience.

Paramedics were forced to rescue ten girls who had fainted and police cancelled the rest of the show to keep further incidences at bay.

Bieber did however perform one song for his throngs of fans. At the window of the "Sunrise" studios, he sang his hit "Baby" to a slew of crying tweens.

The YouTube sensation later took to twitter to express his displeasure over the show's cancellation.

"I am just as disappointed as everyone else with the news from this morning," Bieber tweeted Sunday. "I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR...I DONT CANCEL...I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO THE POLICE CANCELING THE SHOW FOR SAFETY REASONS."

David Koch, “Sunrise’s” host, backed the studio’s decision to abridge Bieber's appearance.

"We've had Pink, we've had the Pussycat dolls, we've had INXS, we have never seen anything like this," he said. "Your daughter may have been injured or died down there, we are not going to cop that responsibility."
