IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Justin Bieber will be on the road until he is almost the ripe old age of 19 and a half.

The "Boyfriend" singer announced the 2013 tour dates for his North American "Believe" World Tour Monday, which starts up again on June 22 in San Diego, Calif., and wraps up in Atlanta on August 10.

New York-based fans will get another chance to beliebe as the pint-sized pop star returns to the area for shows at Newark's Prudential Center on July 30 and 31, and Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Aug. 2. Tickets for those concerts go on sale Dec. 14 through tour promoter AEG Live.

Bieber was shut out of the Grammy nominations announced last week, but has a nice consolation prize: he's already sold more than 15 million units by the age of 18, and is the most popular YouTube artist of all time with 3.1 billion views on the video sharing site. His "Believe" Tour hit No. 1 on AEG Live's weekly top-grossing tour list when it was launched in September.

The news of the extended tour actually comes as little surprise considering Bieber himself dropped a big hint last week on Twitter.

"Maybe some more dates for the US, Canada and Europe. want them? good christmas gift idea? It's all coming ... #BELIEVEtour," he tweeted.
