Judge Refuses To Release Tupac Shakur’s Alleged Killer Keefe D Despite Wack 100 Paying $112,500 For His Bail

Keefe D, the man accused of killing Tupac Shakur, was blessed with a guardian angel of sorts this past week, as Wack 100 paid for his bail. Despite the gesture, a Nevada judge refused to permit his release. A hearing took place this past Tuesday (June 25) in Clark County District Court in Nevada, with Carli Kierny as the presiding judge. The prosecution and defense presented arguments regarding the alleged murderer’s release, and Wack 100 appeared via Zoom to advocate on his behalf. Wack admitted to paying $112,500 to bail Keefe out, and that the money came directly from his 100 Entertainment business“ I know him from passing. I know his son,” Wack said when questioned about his relationship with the 61-year-old defendant. “We sat down and talked a few times in general about personal things when he was having his bout with cancer. Personal things, industry stuff. Just regular conversation He’s always been a monumental guy in our community. And I’ve helped several people in our community, whether it was funerals, whether it was for bail. Wack 100’s glowing statements about Keefe D were to no avail. CBS News reports that the prosecution argued the record executive had selfish desires in getting the alleged murderer released, as he wanted to feature Keefe in a series of video interviews. They provided evidence in the form of interviews where Wack admitted to that exact plan, thus causing the judge to forbid Keefe’s release, blocking him and Wack from making a profit from the ongoing case. His attorneys have yet to comment on the decision. Keefe D was arrested this past September just two months after his home was raided. He was charged with murder with use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal street gang. The belief is that he allegedly killed Tupac to avenge his nephew, suspected triggerman Orlando Anderson, who was jumped by the late rapper and his Death Row Records crew after a Mike Tyson boxing match in September 1996. Police believe that Keefe D didn’t act alone in Pac’s murder, but rather there were three other men present. Anderson, who died in 1998, is one of the suspects along with two other men who are also dead.
