Judge Permits Hurricane Chris To Use Forensics Expert To Testify At His Shooting Trial

Hurricane Chris was arrested after shooting a man who allegedly tried to steal his car (which turned out to be stolen) outside of a convenience store in Shreveport, Louisiana on june 2020 The officers who were called to the scene discovered a man with gunshot wounds to the chest, hip and stomach. The man was rushed to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The rapper claimed that he fired in self-defense something officers dismissed after security footage from a gas station reportedly showed otherwise. Hurricane Chris, who was also charged with illegal possession of the stolen 2016 Mercedes Sedan, is set to appear in court on February 1 for an argument and hearing date. Both experts will assist in proving that Hurricane Chris actions were reasonable and justified. The February 1 date will clear up any small issues.
