Rapper Joe Budden was scolded by a judge on Wednesday for showing up about two hours late to Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday.
“Traffic sucks in New York — print that,” Budden, donning a gray Champion sweatsuit, said on his way out the courthouse.
His lawyer, Nima Ameri, apologized to the judge for the rapper’s lateness, citing driving and parking delays for the “Love & Hip Hop” star who drove from his home in New Jersey.
“There are people who live in New Jersey who make it here on time, sir,” Judge Denise Dominguez told Budden.
Budden, 33, was busted for allegedly roughing up his ex-girlfriend and stealing her cell phone in August.
