Jimmy Henchman’s Criminal History Explored In New Web Series

James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond is one of the more controversial figures in hip-hop history and is currently serving a life sentence for his involvement in the 2009 murder for hire that resulted in the death of G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher. The former record exec has also been linked to the 1994 robbery and shooting of 2Pac and was charged with leading the “Rosemond Organization,” a drug-dealing faction accused of shipping hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from coast-to-coast for which Henchman is serving another life sentence.

A new 10-episode web series called Unjust Justice – The Jimmy Rosemond Tapes will explore the man’s life and will investigate the crimes he has been charged with. Produced by Go to Ground News, the series will feature prison phone calls from Henchman and explores whether the punishment fit the crime. A press release from Go To Ground claims that “Since his conviction in 2012 on unrelated charges, nobody has had the chance to speak to Rosemond or get all the details on his case Riddled with inconsistent information provided by career criminals and federal informants, along with a strategic plan by former Los Angeles Times journalist Chuck Philips to provide government officials with false and damaging information, the case caught the attention of G2G producers, who were inspired to do some real digging to uncover the truth.”

The series is set to launch on Feb. 1 on Go to Ground News‘ website. A podcast called The Rosemond Tapes will also be released to coincide with the episodes. The podcast “features recorded conversations with Rosemond from inside a federal penitentiary about various topics surrounding past, present and future judicial proceedings.”
