Jermaine Jackson may have to sing "I want you back" soon.
The singer's wife Halima Rashid has filed for divorce after nearly 12 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and problems stemming for an alleged domestic spat last year, TMZ reported Thursday.
Rashid listed the pair's separation date as Nov. 28, 2015 — the same day she made headlines after being arrested for domestic violence.
Sources previously told the gossip site that Rashid bit her husband's leg causing Michael Jackson's older brother to call the police on her. Another insider claimed Jackson, 61, spit on his wife during the Thanksgiving weekend brawl.
A case against Rashid for felony corporal injury on a spouse was dropped due to insufficient evidence.
Days later, Jackson pledged his love to Rashid despite the alleged altercation.
"It's obvious. I've been with Halima for 11 years, I still love her, things happen," he told TMZ.
Last month, the couple was photographed together for the first time since their spat.
The pair met while on line at Starbucks in January 2004 and married only months later. It marked the third marriage for the former Jackson 5 member.
Jackson popped the question only two months after meeting, hoping the third time would be the charm in his love life.
The whirlwind romance led to the altar another five months later, when the pair wed at a Los Angeles mosque in August 2004.
The couple did not have any children. Rashid is seeking spousal support.
