Jennifer Lopez got a real scare Sunday night when gun shots reportedly broke out during an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.”
Lopez, 43, was filming an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” host Rob Marciano, after shooting a music video for her new song "Live it Up" on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
According to Marciano, who tweeted out the news, when the “On the Floor” singer’s security team heard the gunshots, it whisked her away to safety.
Fort Lauderdale Police spokeswoman Detective DeAnna Greenlaw told the Daily News that authorities investigated the incident.
“Fort Lauderdale police officers responded to a call of shots fired at the northernmost point of the Fort Lauderdale beach park parking lot,” she said in a statement. “Jennifer Lopez and her crew were filming in the southernmost end of this park.”
“Officers responded to the area in an attempt to investigate the incident; however, the individuals involved in the shooting fled prior to their arrival. At this time, there are no known witnesses, no reported injuries and no further information.”
Rapper Pitbull and Lopez's boyfriend Casper Smart were also on hand for the music video shoot, though it is unclear if they were with Lopez during her interview.
The pop star hasn’t yet commented on the disturbing incident.
