Jennifer Lopez's Backing Dancer Rips Her Pants During Live Performance At AMAs

Jennifer Lopez was determined to make sure all eyes were on her when she opened the American Music Awards on Monday.

So she kicked off the glitzy awards ceremony with a show-stopping performance which consisted of the star and her entourage dancing through a medley of this year's biggest hits, including Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud, Beyonce's 7/11 and Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk.

However, when Nicki Minaj's chart-topper Anaconda started playing, one of JLo's backing dancer unintentionally stole the spotlight.

As the unnamed performance threw herself into the energetic routine, her outfit split - and it was hard to miss for those tuning in at home as the wardrobe malfunction revealed a little too much of her pert derrière.

Fan were quick to take to their Twitter accounts after the incident to comment on what they had seen.

Melanie Langevine posted: "I feel so bad for JLo's dancer whose pants split! #wardrobemalfunction #JLoAMAs."

Another Twitter user, named Papa Woitz, wrote: "That dancer split her pants. What a cheeky moment."

It's not yet known if Jennifer - who is a famous perfectionist - is aware of what happened to her dancer on stage.

However, it's unlikely she'll be too upset as she's no stranger to the occasional wardrobe malfunction herself!
