Beyoncé went from new mommy to diva in a red dress Monday night when a Daily News lensman captured the first photo of her since she gave birth to Blue Ivy Carter.
Looking sexy and showing a little leg in a form-fitting crimson dress paired with four-inch Louboutin heels, the pop star turned out for her husband’s first-ever gig at Carnegie Hall.
“It was amazing,” she said of Jay-Z’s show as she ducked into the 40/40 Club for the afterparty.
Sporting blond highlights in her long brown locks, Beyoncé somehow showed no extra weight a month after giving birth.
She looked spectacular in the body-hugging frock that accentuated her famous curves — and her husband seemed to agree.
Jay-Z, who chilled out after the concert by snacking on celery sticks and sipping champagne, threw his arms around his bride as she greeted him in the center of his club.
The starlet smiled as revelers offered their congratulations on the couple’s bundle of joy.
After their hug, the mega-stars, along with fellow rapper Nas, were rushed out of sight to the VIP section upstairs.
No doubt there was much talk among them about Jay’s first appearance at the hallowed hall.
Never before had he hit the stage armed with a full, 36-piece orchestra to complement his 10-piece band.
The production stressed local color, from the art deco shots of the New York skyline and the subway in the background, to the inevitable performance of “Empire State of Mind,” complete with Alicia Keys. Seldom has she sung its chorus with such soaring pride.
The best orchestrations of the night gave the material some of the grandeur of ’70s soul tracks, like “Theme from Shaft,” or “Across 110th Street.” The string section gave fresh bounce to hits like “99 Problems,” and added a more stern kind of funk to “Big Pimpin.”
To push the grown-up act even further, he performed his newly penned song to his daughter with Beyoncé, “Glory.”
