Having a newborn in the house hasn’t hindered the romance in the Carter household.
New parents Jay-Z and Beyonce left their 3-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, at home Sunday to enjoy a date night courtside as the New York Knicks played the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden.
Love was definitely in the air for the PDA-packed twosome, who recently celebrated their four-year wedding anniversary on April 4. Photos show the playful “Run the World” singer tickling her rapper hubby’s chin as he lovingly caressed her face and flashed his mega-watt smile.
And while others in attendance were decked out in NBA gear, Beyonce didn’t let her sense of style suffer. The singer donned a simple black top, eye-catching leopard-print pants and fuchsia stilettos, paired with a wide-brimmed black hat and sunglasses.
Beyonce, 30, wasn’t the only one showing Jay-Z, 42, some love this week.
On Thursday, the singer penned a heartfelt fan letter to First Lady Michelle Obama, calling her “the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African-American woman.”
“I am proud,” she wrote, underlining the word “proud” twice, “to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”
The First Lady responded to the superstar's letter via Twitter, writing: "Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to.”
