Jamie Foxx Shares Emotional Messag After Taping New “Second Chance” Special First Stage Appearance In 18 Years

Jamie Foxx recently finished filming his new one-man special in Atlanta and penned an emotional reflection. “God is good…. As I post these pictures, my heart and my soul is filled with nothing but pure joy,” Foxx wrote. He recalled filming the show over three nights earlier this month and explained there was no better place to host it than in ATL. “On October 3 fourth and fifth I had an opportunity to tell my side of the story and there was no better place than Atlanta Georgia. I have to thank you Atlanta you showed up and you showed out,” said the Unpredictable crooner. Foxx, admittedly, hasn’t been on stage in 18 years, but noted, “I needed the stage and I needed an audience that was made up of nothing but pure love and that’s what you were.” He noted that this wasn’t necessarily a “stand up comedy show,” but instead described it as “an artistic explanation.” The father of two confessed that it was Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta that helped him through that health scare from last year and overall “enabled me to come back and be on stage and do what I love to do the most… He concluded the post with “#nobaddays [and] as my guy James would say #secondchance thank you ATLANTA.”
