Jamie Foxx Says He's Not Dating Katie Holmes

Jamie Foxx responded to rumors that he and pal Katie Holmes are an item Tuesday, telling Entertainment Tonight that the speculation surrounding his love life is "hilarious."

"(The rumors) are 100% not true," Foxx, 45, said.

"In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."

Rumors about a romance between the Oscar-winning actor and Holmes, 34, began after the pair was seen dancing together at a star-studded Hamptons fete in August.

Some tabloid reports claim the former "Dawson's Creek" darling is quietly seeing Foxx, a close friend and "Collateral" co-star to her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

"Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while," an In Touch magazine source claimed, adding that the A-list actors were spending time at each other's New York City abodes.

"They're very 'Mission: Impossible' about their romance."

According to Foxx, being more than friends with Holmes is the impossible mission.
