Jackie Chan Rushes Studio To “Hurry Up” On ‘Rush Hour 4’

Jackie Chan is ready to reprise his role as Detective Inspector Lee in the Rush Hour franchise now. the actor confirmed that the process to create the fourth installment is taking longer than he had hoped. Shangai Noon, Shanghai Knights, and Shanghai Dawn. The script is still going on. I want to do a Rush Hour 4. The 71-year-old dis a ranking on them from favorite to least favorite. “I don’t know,” he exclaimed in the platform’s puppy interview series. ” “You know what, the first one: little money, little time. We shot it like, ‘Go, go, go, go!’ The second one: a lot of money, a lot of time. The third one: too much money, too much time. Too much money is no good. In December 2022, the Chinese movie star teased that Rush Hour 4 was potentially in the works. “We’re talking about part 4 right now,” Chan explained at the time, adding that he had set a meeting with the film’s unidentified director later in the evening to go over the script.He has been hinting at continuing the franchise since at least 2017 when he shared, “The script probably at the end of this month will have a second draft and next year, probably start, if…Chris Tucker agrees.” In 2023, Tucker shared that he was down to return to his role of LAPD detective James Carter among other project after Chan yet again mentioned the idea
