J. Cole’s Entire ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ Album Is Dominating The Billboard Hot 100

Even though 2016 is almost over, J. Cole can already count this year as a career victory. Every track on the North Carolina spitter’s 4 Your Eyez Only release has landed in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In addition, Cole earned his first No. 1 spot on the Billboard Artist 100 tally measuring influential charts including the Hot 100, and Top Album Sales charts respectively.

With more than 500,000 copies sold (including streams) in its debut week, sales from 4 Your Eyez Only’s make for the largest percentage of points needed to top Billboard’s Artist 100 singles chart.

Out of the 10 Cole tracks debuting on Billboard’s Hot 100, “Deja Vu” leads the way at No. 7, giving the 31-year-old rapper his first Top 10 entry on the Hot 100.

Not long after 4 Your Eyes Only dropped, “Deja Vu” co-producers Vinylz and Boi-1da shed light on why the instrumental sounds like Bryson Tiller’s “Exchange” single.

“I sent this thief a video of me making the Deja Vu beat..a week later he post a beat on [Instargram] with the same drums. I made him take it down,” Vinylz tweeted on Dec. 8. “He said ‘I’m sorry bro.. I was inspired . I look up to you’ few months later he decides to remake the whole beat and give it to Bryson. He even offered me publishing on the song.. why would u offer publishing if you didn’t steal it?”

“Exchange” producer, Foreign Track, denied the allegations, while Vinylz made it clear that Tiller had nothing to do with the allegedly stolen beat. “This is directed at the producer,” he tweeted.
