J. Cole Gets Hit In The Face With An iPhone In San Diego

From Comic Con to Pride Weekend the city of San Diego has been a hot spot for the last couple of weeks. This weekend was no exception, North Carolina’s hip hop sensation J. Cole was in town for a performance at the Bassmnt in SD, where some say he dissed an upcoming San Diego rapper calling his music “Wack”. To many it was no big deal but someone apparently took offense and launched an apple iphone in J. Cole’s direction, hitting him in the face during his performance of his hit single “Power Trip”. The platinum rapper took the attempted distraction like a seasoned vet, with a slight smirk on his face picked up the cell phone, took a quick glance, placed the phone in his pocket and continued with the show.
