Thugs armed with screwdrivers stabbed two men during a wild brawl on a Bronx street early Thursday night, police and a witness said.
Two packs of young men squared off outside a RadioShack along Southern Blvd. in Longwood about 5:30 p.m. - and things got "crazy" when two thugs whipped out screwdrivers, police confirmed.
"It was five on five," said a witness, Anthony, 21, who refused to provide his last name. "They were going crazy."
One got knocked to the ground and was stabbed in the side as he fell. Another fared even worse. "The other kid was stabbed in the head, and he ran into the RadioShack," the witness said.
The brawlers scattered after one of the goons tried to hack an adversary - but missed, shattering a window of a minivan parked along the street. The stabbed men were taken to Lincoln Hospital. Their wounds were not considered life-threatening, a police source said.
