Irv Gotti has revealed a project exploring the life of late rapper DMX is in the works. The Murder Inc. Records co-founder shared the news while giving a health update after being seen using a walker following a stroke. In his own words, Gotti added, “I’m getting older. That’s all,” expressing he is currently focused on a biopic on the Ruff Ryders rapper. He has yet to release details of the biographical film. DMX, born Earl Simmons, died on April 9, 2021, at the age of 50. His cause of death was confirmed as a heart attack brought on by acute cocaine intoxication, resulting in a blockage in blood flow to the rapper’s brain, and ultimately leaving him in a “vegetative state.“ DMX is one of rap’s most iconic figures, ascending to superstardom after rising from the streets of Yonkers to the top of the music world,” reads the description. “Despite his incredible success, a slew of legal and personal problems plagued the life of Earl Simmons
