Iggy Azalea's Ex-Producer Claims She Owes Him At Least $1.5M

Singer Iggy Azalea ditched the music producer who made her famous — and now he wants her to pay up, a new Manhattan federal lawsuit alleges.

Jon Jon Traxx claims he discovered the "Fancy" singer in spring 2008 and "nurtured" her career, including by connecting her to major labels and industry bigs.

Traxx claims he gave Azalea "substantive advice pertaining to her singing, rapping, and stage presence, and guided her music selection to best fit her talents."

He also says he's responsible for the Aussie singer's sassy persona and helped her work "with a stylist to curate her image, giving the Defendant media training, and assembling an artist development team with a choreographer, vocal coach, and publicist."

They came to a recording agreement in 2009 — but by 2012, when she "was on her way to becoming a household name," Azalea stopped communicating with Traxx, the lawsuit alleges.

The two ultimately agreed to end their deal in January 2013, but Traxx says Azalea owes him money. He's seeking at least $1.5 million.
