Hip hop pioneer Kidd Creole pleaded not guilty Wednesday to stabbing a homeless man to death in Murray Hill.
Creole, whose legal name is Nathaniel Glover, is charged with second-degree murder in the Aug. 1 slaying of 55-year-old John Jolly at E. 44th St. and Third Ave.
Glover, who was a member of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, was on his way to work nearby when he had a run-in with Jolly, a police source previously told the Daily News.
Glover, 57, believed that Jolly — a convicted sex offender and rapist — was coming onto him, another source told The News.
When asked to enter his plea, Glover, sporting a white button-down shirt and dark trousers, replied, "Not guilty, sir."
