Hip-Hop star T.I. failed a drug test with his probation officer and tested positive for marijuana and codeine, the active ingredient in the illegal drink "Sizzurp."
T.I. was stopped around 10:40PM on September 1st for allegedly making an illegal U-turn on the Sunset Strip. When officers searched the car they found ecstasy on the rapper and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle.
T.I. and his wife were released on $10,000 bail and could face up to a year on the possession charges in Los Angeles.
But things could be more serious for T.I., because he is on three-years supervised probation, after he was convicted of attempting to purchase machine guns with silencers before the BET Hip-Hop Awards in 2007.
Now T.I. must face the judge who cut almost nine-years off of his original prison sentence and allowed the rapper to serve just one year, due to his celebrity influence over teens.
T.I. probation officer listed three possible violations of his probation, including the ecstasy charge, associating with a convicted felon named Cortez Thomas and testing positive for opiates on September 2nd.
Judge Pannell has not set a date for T.I.'s hearing.
