They may be spotted by the paparazzi on a near-daily basis, but Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez finally made their coupledom Hollywood-official when they hit their first red carpet together Saturday.
The lovebirds, who are co-stars in the upcoming film "Dark Tide," appeared hand-in-hand at the 32nd Anniversary Carousel of Hope Gala in Beverly Hills.
The event, which was attended by a bevy of big names, including Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hanks and Paris Hilton, was the most upfront confirmation the two have made of their relationship thus far.
According to an UsMagazine.com source, the pair appeared "smitten" and "inseperable" throughout the night.
The romance dates back to at least August, when Berry and Martinez, both 44, were photographed cuddling in South Africa during the "Dark Tide" shoot.
Since then, the actors have been caught getting cozy numerous times, including on the back of Martinez's motorcycle in Los Angeles and while hanging out in Spain with pal Salma Hayek.
Berry, who shares custody of 2-year-old daughter Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry, told the September issue of Vogue that she wasn't "done with love."
"I am a hopeless romantic," she said. "And I won't stop till I get it right."
It remains to be seen whether this time is indeed "right."
Martinez's last well-known relationship was with singer Kylie Minogue, who called him the "most honorable man I have ever met" after he stuck by her through breast cancer treatment. The pair split in 2007 after four years of dating.
