Gucci Mane Won't Get Out Of Jail Until 2016

Gucci Mane plead guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon earlier today and in his plea deal, prosecutors want Gucci to stay in jail until late 2016, according to TMZ.

The charge carries a maximum 10 years in jail sentence but Big Guwop will only serve about three years and three months in prison. Still late 2016 is a long time.

In Sept. Guwop was arrested in Atlanta for carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital . Officers found Gucci in possession of a Glock 40-caliber handgun and 11 rounds of ammunition.

Gucci will officially be sentenced in July and faces a $250,000 fine.

Even though Gucci has been in jail, he’s still putting out new material such as his mixtape with Young Thug called Young Thugga Mane La Flare and made about $1.3 Million in 2013 in record sale.
