GUCCI MANE GETS INDICTED FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

Rapper Gucci Mane appeared in Atlanta court Tuesday, and was indicted on one count of aggravated assault after hitting a fan in the head with a champagne bottle at an Atlanta nightclub on March 16.

The ice-cream cone tatted musician, whose real name is Radric Davis, 33, struck the man after he tried to strike up a conversation. According to local reports, the victim was a military veteran looking to get a photograph with the rapper.

Though it's unclear why Davis became aggressive, the bottle blow caused a "severe laceration" on the man's head. According to the police report, the rapper left the scene before police arrived.

He turned himself into police March 26, after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Davis was denied bond and put behind bars for two weeks while awaiting a court decision.

According to MTV News, the rapper was also accused of a similar incident in Philadelphia two nights later, where a man claims he was punched in the jaw by Davis.

It isn't the first time he's been in trouble with the law. In 2001 Davis was arrested for cocaine possession and spent 90 days in jail.

He also served a six-month prison term in 2005 for assault, and in 2009, was imprisoned for a year for violating probation in that case.

And, in 2011, a Georgia judge sentenced the rapper to six months in jail after he admitted to pushing a woman out of his car.

They did Gucci dirty. He sat for 2 weeks while they denied bond. We all know all them dudes want is money! But the DA wants his neck! I guess he did too much already!
