Mike Myers may be getting his mojo back.
The Canadian comedian, whose last starring role in a live action film was in the 2008 box office flop, "The Love Guru," signed on for a fourth installment of his popular "Austin Powers" franchise, HitFix.com reported Friday.
Myers, 48, is returning for the first time in a decade to play the bumbling British spy who's irrestible to women.
But the previous three movies in the series - 1997's "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery," 1999's "The Spy Who Shagged Me" and 2002’s "Goldmember" - earned $676 million worldwide in theaters and became a cult favorite on DVD.
In recent years, however, Myers' career -- not including his voice work as the title ogre in the Shrek movies -- has been less groovy.
"For a lot of people, it's his quintessential role, his signature character," Paul Degarabedian, box office analyst for Hollywood.com, told the Daily News. "It's been a while, but Mike Myers can always count on an audience for an Austin Powers movie."
"It could make a BILLION dollars," joked Degarabedian, mimicking the Dr. Evil line from the original movie.
