GET OUT! AMAR'E STOUDEMIRE & AMBER ROSE!

New York Knick Amar'e Stoudemire's spokeswoman says his only "girlfriend is basketball" these days. If that's the case, he's stepping out on the sport with stubble-headed siren Amber Rose.
An eagle-eyed source at Wednesday's Knicks game against the Celtics tells us Stud-emire - we mean, Stoudemire - left Madison Square Garden with the exotic model after his last-ditch three-point shot proved too late to pull out a win for the Knicks.

The source also noted that Rose, who's previously been linked with tortured hip-hop genius Kanye West and, more recently, with rapper Fabolous, sat in Garden seats that were occupied by Stoudemire's agent, Happy Walters, at Sunday's game against Denver. (Fab also caught the Celtics contest, with Trey Songz, but paid Rose no heed.)

Around midnight, Stoudemire and Rose arrived at midtown hot spot Covet Lounge, where they sat with two other men and ordered a bottle of Grey Goose vodka for the table.

According to a source there, Rose kept her sunglasses on the entire time and behaved shyly at first. But the former exotic dancer — who we estimate is a good foot shorter than the 6-10 hoopster — loosened up in time for her and Stoudemire to partake in some "extremely flirty" close dancing with each other. The dynamic duo left together at about 2 a.m.

What's not clear is how long or how intensely Stoudemire, who has kids by another woman, has been hanging with Rose.

On Dec. 5, Stoudemire tweeted on his verified "Amareisreal" Twitter account: "Can someone send me a pic of Amber Rose? I need that. I keep hearing how beautiful she is, show me. Gone!!"

One bit of speculation making the rounds is that, following Stoudemire's tweet, a mutual friend put the Knick on the phone with Rose. But both Stoudemire's agent, Walters, and his spokeswoman told us they were under the impression that he and Rose knew each other pre-tweet.

The player's publicist also told us that although she normally doesn't comment on her client's "love life," Stoudemire and Rose were "friends."

"His girlfriend right now is basketball," she said of the superstar. "The point is to keep winning for the Knicks."

As for Amar'e's tweet, she said: "I think he was being funny. I don't think you have to go very far to find a pretty picture of Amber Rose."

The question is whether we'll soon be seeing sexy shots of Rose and an amorous Amar'e.
