GET OUT! A SKINNY INMATE ESCAPES TENNESSEE JAIL BY SLIPPING THROUGH THE PRISON CELL BARS!

A skinny Tennessee prisoner has shocked authorities after he apparently escaped jail by shimmying his way through the bars in his cell earlier this week.
After being on the run for 15 hours, Kristopher Allen White, 23, was caught by authorities and sent back to Haywood County jail in Brownsville, Tenn.

White, who is 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds, squeezed through the bars covering a window opening, which were four and a half inches apart, early Monday morning, police said. He then used blankets to climb over a barbed wire fence.

Investigators later discovered White's jail clothes and the blanket a mile and a half away from the prison on the side of the road.

"It was quite a caper," Haywood County Sheriff Melvin Bond told the Jackson Sun. "I've never seen anything like it since I've been in law enforcement."

The limber prisoner was jailed earlier this year after he was caught breaking into several churches in the county. He was placed in a cell with another inmate, who authorities believe helped with the Houdini-like escape.

White will appear in court on next week, said Bond, who had some advice for the inmate.

"Look at life good," said Bond. "It will be a while before you see it again."
