GEORGE CLOONEY'S GIRLFRIEND ELISABETTA CANALIS IN LINGERIE ON THE COVER OF FHM MAGAZINE!

It's not hard to see what George Clooney likes about Elisabetta Canalis.
The actor's girlfriend looks super sultry in revealing black lace lingerie on the current cover of the German edition of FHM magazine.

However Canalis, who hosts MTV Italy's "Total Request Live," looked almost disappointedly proper when she walked the red carpet Monday alongside Clooney and his mother, Nina, at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie, "Up in the Air."

Unlike the garters and bustier she wore for her photo shoot, the Sardinia-born beauty covered up her curves with appropriate attire consisting of a black jacket, trousers and a crew neck sweater.

The couple's recent outing may be considered a big step in their five-month relationship since the only other woman to accompany Clooney and his mother on the red carpet was British talk show host Lisa Snowden at the 2004 premiere of "Ocean's Twelve."

Despite admitting he can be unlucky in love, the actor appears to be on the right romance track with Canalis, 30, who he met in July through mutual friends in Rome.

"I've had some absolutely great relationships and some not so great relationships," Clooney, 48, told London's Daily Mirror. "I've been in some relationships where I've felt terribly alone. Just because you're with someone it doesn't mean you're incredibly happy and complete."

He added, "I've had some easy and natural, made-sense breakups as well as some rough ones. I deal with them the same way we all do: I'm successful with some and not so successful with others."

Let's hope for the actor, this one will last.
