Gabrielle Union Says She Will Get A Prenup Before Marrying Dwyane Wade

"The biggest difference between this and the last marriage will be a prenup -- at my insistence," Union, who was married to NFL player Chris Howard from 2001 to 2006, said.

"The reality is, I've never seen Dwyane balance a checkbook," she confessed.
Still, the "Being Mary Jane" star is excited about her upcoming nuptials and has even said she's on a porn diet for her big day. But just as she's eager to get a prenup this time around, Union also has a different approach to planning the wedding.

"The last time, I just wrote checks," she said. "I was working, I had a wedding planner, and I just showed up and was like, 'Ooh, that's nice. Who picked that out?'"
Instead of an extravagant occasion with an infinite guest list, the actress looks forward to an intimate affair with close friends and family to share in the moment of marital bliss with her and Wade.

"There's a lot of people who think they're coming," she said.
However, Union said it's not so much her who's shaving down the guest roster as it is her 32-year-old pro athlete fiancé.
"If you're not about us and we don't both have a relationship with you, you're not going to make it," she added.
Wade popped the question in December by presenting Union with an enormous ring.
"She said YES!!!" he tweeted at the time.
