Gabrielle Union And Dwyane Wade Welcome First Child Via Surrogate

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, via surrogate. The Miami Heat basketball player announced the news on Instagram on Thursday.

“When i wake up in the morning’ love And the sunlight hurts my eyes And somethin’ without warnin’ love Bears heavy on my mind Then i look at you And the worlds alright with me Just one look at you And i know it’s gonna be A lovely day!” he began the caption, quoting Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day.” “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that, our miracle baby, arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days.

The “Being Mary Jane” star, 46, also shared the news on her Instagram page.

While this is the couple’s first child, 36-year-old Wade is also father to sons Zaire, 16, and Zion, 11, from his previous marriage to Siohvaughn Funches. He also has a third child, Xavier, from a previous relationship. He also takes care of his 17-year-old nephew, Dahveon Morris.
