Future And Rocko Settle $10 Million Lawsuit Out Of Court

After more than a year of legal drama, Future and Rocko have finally reached a settlement regarding a $10 million lawsuit over a breach of contract.

According to a report from TMZ, court documents show that Future and Rocko requested a dismissal of the case, and Rocko's lawyers say he is happy with the "very successful result." While the legal team wouldn't reveal how much the settlement is for, it's apparently in the seven figures range. Rocko was originally seeking $10 million.

Rocko first sued Future in 2016, for a breach of a 2011 contract. According to the lawsuit, Future's contract stated his first six albums would be released through A1 Recordings. But Future then signed a side deal with Epic Records that earned him a multi-million dollar advance. Rocko also claimed he was owed 20 percent of Future's earnings from touring, endorsements and other revenue sources.

While Rocko has continued taking shots at Future since filing the lawsuit, The Atlanta Rapper/Singer fired back earlier this year, calling Rocko a con artist. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Future wrote, "U post it cause I'm the sh*t nigga... on gang tho! U gone die fake nigga! U embraced me as a brother at my worse & try to play me! Ain talk to u in years nigga! Ain't no nigga on earth gone take sh*t with consequences, judge or no judge nigga! U a con artist!"

Neither Future nor his team have commented on the reported settlement.
