He may only be 9 years old, but pint-sized rapper Lil Poopy is already facing his first encounter with the law over his sexually suggestive lyrics and music videos.
Poopy (a.k.a. Luie Rivera Jr.) has performed with P. Diddy and has a growing army of fans, but cops in Brockton, Mass., say his dad, Luis Rivera Sr., is neglecting the fourth grader by allowing him to star in the risqué clips.
Lil Poopy, named for when he used to wear his diapers as an infant, now raps about designer clothes, money and "hoes."
Calling himself a "cocaine cowboy," the videos see him slapping the behinds of adult women, riding in Ferraris and throwing wads of cash in the air.
Signed by Moroccan-born rapper French Montana, the CEO of Cocaine City Records, he charges $7,500 per performance as part of the Coke Boys group.
Rivera Sr. says he and his son have done nothing wrong, claiming that his son never curses in songs and insisting he is a good kid who studies hard.
"He goes to school every day. He knows mo school, no rappin. His teachers love him. He's a really smart kid," Rivera Sr. told the Boston Herald.
But the police disagree and have filed a report against the father, alleging child abuse and neglect, with state child welfare officials.
Lt. David Dickinson told the The Enterprise newspaper, "It's a bit much for a nine-year-old. It warrants the attention of the Department of Children and Families."
A 9 year old cocaine cowboy huh?
What kind of name is "Lil Poopy" anyways? Does he do poopy in his diaper?
