Freeway Rick Ross Reignites Rick Ross Feud Over Identity Co-Opt: Rozay Responds

Freeway Rick Ross reignited his longstanding feud with rapper Rick Ross. The former aired his grievances during a short interview with an influencer on Saturday  Freeway took direct aim at the rapper’s moniker which is derived from him, a former drug kingpin. He even took shots at his physique, calling out their visible differences. “I’m the real Ross,” he declared. “Rozay sounds feminine to me.” Addressing the clear cut difference between their weight, Freeway added, “And I ain’t fat either. Nah, I ain’t fat.” the Maybach Music mogul wasted no time firing back on social media. In true Rick Ross fashion, he blended humor with condescension. “This gangsta informant [three laughing emojis] still [lurks]. @freewayricky [mermaid emoji]. Go put on a suit peon,” he typed. Social media users also joined in, with many siding with Freeway and calling out Rozay for capitalizing off the Texas native’s name and infamous history.
