They’ve been thinking about you — and waiting forever.
Frank Ocean fans are sick of waiting for the singer’s sophomore album, which was slated to drop this Friday, to no avail.
Now, word is that “Boys Don’t Cry” will see a Nov. 13 release, a date implied by a cryptic image of a library due-date slip on the star’s website.
The “Thinkin Bout You” singer hasn’t released anything since his Grammy-winning debut, “Channel Orange,” in 2012.
f being let down over no new tracks on Friday wasn’t enough of a disappointment to fans, the months-long delay has them freaking out all over the internet.
“I refuse to listen to the new Frank Ocean album (if it ever comes out) because it can't live up to the hype. You did this Frank,” one Twitter user wrote.
“Boy you WILL cry if u don’t drop ya album soon,” another user threatened the R&B singer.
Ocean’s website features the image of the due-date slip, and although the July 2016 stamp is prevalent in red, another date stamped in black reads "NOV 13 2016."
The artist hasn’t explicitly weighed in on the apparent November release date, even after a New York Times story reported it would go live on Apple Music on Aug. 5.
The due-date card remains fans' only sliver of information on the album's release.
“No more whiny Frank Ocean posts from me until he actually drops the album,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “I’ll see y’all in november I guess.”
